2007 Year in Review

I can’t believe its time for a 2007 edition of the year in review. This year has just flown by.

Winter was mostly uneventful in 2007. Jen and I were busy adjusting to being parents – caregivers for someone other than ourselves. For two only children, that’s kind of a shock.

New photos posted

We’ve been a little behind in posting our photos lately.  We’ve added a lot to the .Mac gallery last night.  We’ve got more photos from Peyton’s birthday – we went to Outback on her birthday – and we have Halloween photos and Thanksgiving photos.  Hope you enjoy!

Dedication Ceremony audio available

Peyton’s dedication ceremony was back in January, but we wanted to upload and share the recording from the service on the site for everyone. This is really the first time Jen and I have gotten to listen to the whole service. The day is more or less a blur for us. As you can hear, Peyton cried her way through part of the service. Its kind of amazing to have audio recording of her cry…

A friend of our’s, Tim Jennings, took the tape recording and has cleaned it up and digitized it for us to preserve it forever. We’ve posted both the dedication sermon only and the whole service with worship.

We have also posted photos from the service on our .Mac gallery.

One Year Check-Up

Peyton went to her one year check-up at the pediatrician Nov. 6.  She weighed 22 pounds and was 29 inches long.  She is in the 50th percentile, but the doctor says she is as healthy as horse. She had three shots and was very brave about them. She whimpered a little bit, but the tears dried up as soon as the band-aids went on.  We’re amazed at her and how much she has grown. She is definitely developing her own personality as she is curious, nosy and waves at everybody. Peyton will even give you “kisses” if you ask her and share that she is a “big girl” when she throws her hands up in the air.
